I purchased this belt after trying out their original self-locking belt years ago. I love the self-locking mechanism and the price compared to lever belts. The 6mm width makes it comfortable right away, providing better support than its nylon counterpart. Overall, it’s a versatile hybrid belt suitable for powerlifting, weightlifting, or heavier metcon-style workouts.

The belt is durable, but the Velcro barely holds up for a month. I prefer to loosen it between exercises in a circuit, but the Velcro strap hangs loose. Only a part of it still sticks, but only when pulled all the way in.

I bought this belt to replace my old one for squats and deadlifts. The velcro on my old belt kept coming loose during lifts, so I prefer the nylon belt with velcro over a leather one with pre-set holes. The new belt is thick and stiff, but still comfortable. The locking mechanism is meant to be a fail-safe in case the velcro fails. It’s a bit tricky to tighten due to the locking bar, but overlapping the belt tightly helps. Overall, it’s a solid belt that has worked well for me.

The company is very customer-oriented, fully confident in their products and considerate of their customers. When I reached out about a sizing problem, they promptly responded and ensured I was taken care of. The product is excellent – sturdy with a secure locking mechanism that keeps it in place perfectly.

Pros: The belt’s overall quality is impressive – sturdy, reliable self-lock system, not too heavy or thick. Perfect for recreational lifters.
Cons: Adjusting the belt for different exercises is a challenge. It tends to loosen when pressing a barbell while standing, unlike a lever belt. Unfastening the velcro is a bit tedious, but might just be a matter of habit.

Great support for beginner lifters. Simple to wear, stylish, compact, and lightweight. Just what I needed.

The hybrid nylon belt is amazing. It’s stronger and stiffer without sacrificing suppleness. It looks great and feels incredibly durable.

I use this belt for Olympic lifting and prefer it to be tight and firm for durability. It seems to meet my requirements so far. The velcro on my previous belts wore out quickly, causing them to become unusable. I hope this belt will be tight and long-lasting. It is thicker than nylon belts but not as thick as a Powerlifting belt. I sized down and it fits nicely on my hip bones and ribs. I am waiting to see how it softens with use.
