The taste is fantastic! While some may find the texture reminiscent of honey, I personally enjoy it as I love honey. The flavors I’ve tried so far strike a perfect balance – flavorful but not overpowering. It provided me with the energy necessary for my run in the hot and humid weather!

I purchased these for my husband who is preparing for a half marathon to experiment with various energy gels/chews. Sadly, one of the Energy Gels had leaked inside the package, creating a sticky mess. After cleaning up, we found only one item was affected. On a brighter note, he liked the waffle and gel for his run. I appreciate that they are organic!

I participated in my first duathlon this year in September 2023. My coach recommended that I try this product, and I’m glad I did. It performed exactly as expected. The jelly has a nice flavor that isn’t overly sweet. The waffles were perfect for refueling after the run, and the gummies were also excellent.

I was really looking forward to using these gels for my long runs and upcoming half marathon. However, upon checking the expiration date, I found out they had expired back in July 2021. Unfortunately, there is no option for a refund or return. Now I’m stuck with expired gels that are a year and a half old. I cannot trust these for my runs anymore. It’s disappointing. I recommend buying them directly from Honeystinger or your local running shop instead.
