I am very pleased with these gels. They are just as effective as I had anticipated, tasty, and do not leave a chalky aftertaste. The advancement in flavoring within sports nutrition in recent years is clearly evident. I appreciate it and will definitely be purchasing more.

If it’s your first time trying these gels, keep in mind that they have a gel-like consistency, which can be a bit overwhelming and the taste among options is similar but varies – it’s hard to describe, but primarily expect a sweet and sticky flavor. If you think you can eat half now and save the rest for later, it might be tricky as the packet doesn’t reseal once opened. I bought it to consume during long swimming sessions, but eating it while swimming can be challenging due to its texture….

I find that 3 out of the 4 flavors of this product are excellent. However, I personally did not enjoy the Lemon Sublime flavor as it had a strong chemical taste. In terms of energy, I have been taking one of these about every 20 minutes and they have been very effective in helping me sustain my energy levels throughout the day.

Before trying these, be aware that they don’t taste great, but they are effective. If you need an extra boost, don’t hesitate to use them. Caffeine is not permitted during my son’s races, so the non-caffeinated options are a good choice to provide him with some energy. The caffeinated versions provide a noticeable boost, to the point where my son gets frustrated seeing other racers use them, feeling like it’s cheating.
